Shadow Play

I processed this shot last night around 7pm while trying desperately to keep my eyes open. The ridiculous sickness that I’ve had for the past week and a half has absolutely kicked my butt, and until yesterday, I hadn’t had the time or energy to shoot, process, or post any new photos. So I apologize for my absence.

I toted the new X100 with me to work, and snapped a few frames on the walk back to my car yesterday afternoon. This is my favourite of the small set. Gotta love some abstract reflections 🙂

Love the lines and play on reflections. I hope you get to kicking that cold to the curb soon. Best wishes and a speedy recovery!

A good reflection will make you look like a genius – that’s why I fall back on them so often 🙂

Nice shot Heath. I like the that it hits me on multi-levels. The reflection, the light and shadow, the pattern of the windows repeating over and over. Very cool.

Nice Heath…insane reflection. Love that old building in the background…and nice stuff with this new camera!

Gorgeous shot. Love the cool tones and rippled reflections. That little camera is really impressing me.

The shadows definitely give this shot multiple layers in one reflection! Nicely done! Hope you get to feeling better!

I see you caved to the pressure.

Great shot dude – reflections are awesome, and I love that you were close enough to make it abstract.

Kristi Hines - May 5, 2011 - 8:46 am

Nice job with both the reflection and the shadow on the buildings.

And no apologizes needed. Although I’m wondering what’s going on in photog land – seems like a lot of people have been down with something recently. Hope you feel back to normal soon!

Nice shot. Can’t go wrong with some reflections.

I have this sure fire cure for stubborn colds and flues. It involves copious amounts of tequila and lots of running though… But hey, after a brief stint in the ER, you almost always feel better!

Rich Williams - May 5, 2011 - 9:20 am

Now that is one killer reflection.

Jason Hines - May 5, 2011 - 9:31 am
