This past weekend I was in Moyie Lake, BC for an annual boys golf trip…and I’m currently in recovery mode. An awful lot of beer was consumed and there wasn’t much sleep to be had, so my body is a little bit angry with me.
I didn’t have the chance to do any serious shooting, but I did get a few shots of the boys hanging out around the firepit. I’ll probably be sharing a few more later in the week, but for now, here’s a combination portrait/self-portrait. When my buddy Fraser put on these super reflective Ray Bans, I couldn’t help but use them (and him) to shoot a self-portrait. I guess I could have stopped down the aperture a bit so both he and I were in focus…but there was beer to be consumed 🙂
Great reflection!
Love this – always been a fan of using reflective shades to capture the environment around you.
Nice capture. Sounds like a good time with friends. Beer and a firepit is one of my favorite combinations.
You had me at “an awful lot of beer was consumed”.
Love it, always a favorite shot for me 🙂
But you didn’t smile back 😉
This dude looks like a younger Michael Chiklis. 🙂
That’s a great idea for a self portrait! Nice capture. Sounds like you had a great time if you need to recover!
Really cool work man, an awesome portrait and love that reflection!
Really cool shot Heath!
Good job Heath, worry about the beer first! Everything else comes second! Great shot here, in all truth, I love it! Not sure how you managed to pull this one off not being blurry with all the beer goggles youse guys had on, so this is yet another thing I have the utmost respect for you on….
Nice one! I love getting the reflection portrait shots.
