Black and White

I know it’s late for a new post, but better late than never, right?

I had a pretty busy weekend and I didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time with my wonderful wife, so instead of processing images on Sunday night, we sat on the couch and watched a few episodes of True Blood. So totally worth it! It’s a great show, and I’d recommend it to anyone…as long as you’re good with a bit of adult content. But…onto the photo.

I was asked by my brother in law and his wife to take a few newborn shots of their beautiful new son. While newborn photography isn’t my favourite thing in the world (I think I need to have one of my own before I’m truly comfortable doing it), they’re family after all, and I obliged, snapping a few images for them on Saturday afternoon. This is one of my faves from my brief time with this cute little devil.

Catchlight and curls. What could be better? Wonderfully captured Heath.

Oh he’s gorgeous. Shooting babies may not be you’re thing but you’re pretty good at it.

You might want to consider a new photographic sideline. This is great, and that baby is quite cute!

This is perfect Heath. You caught a great expression on the boy’s face and the catchlight is perfect! Can’t help but wonder what is on his mind?

This is absolutely adorable man, beautiful soft focus and great light on his face.
