This is a shot from my trip to the Kootenays earlier this year. I think I mentioned the huge forest fire that took out an enormous portion of this forest in a previous post. You can see more of that devastation in this shot, but you also get a peek at the new growth that will form the base of the new forest that will continue to grow in years to come.
What a stunning landscape, even after the forest fire, the view is amazing
Incredible shot!
Love this scene Heath!
Beautiful landscape shot, Heath. I love the crispness of the mountains.
Stunning shot Heath! Love the sapling in the foreground and the path leading the eye to the mountains! Strong work!
Insane. I love.
Pretty shot Heath – I love the wispy lined clouds coming over the mountains.
I’m with Chris on the young sampling in the foreground that sets the tone of your post. Beautiful image.
Fantastic landscape Heath. Love the way the path leads you into the mountains.
Totally dig how the path leads you right into the frame. Great shot from this wonderful place!
Beautiful scene Heath! Well done!
Really cool shot. Lovely blues and clean whites. Nice foreground. Love your landscapes man!
Gorgeous! Can’t wait to get up to the Canadian Rockies again next month. Looks like the growth will come back nicely. I’d be curious how this shot will look next year. Well done!
WOW! It looks like you can just walk right onto the path. I love it:)
Just lovely Heath.
This is one of your best Heath, so crisp, love the colors, WOW
A little bit of snow in late July never hurt anyone! Beautiful image Heath, love your comp and processing.
Hell of a beautiful scene Heath, just awesome. Colors are so good.
I have heard that fires are actually pretty good for the forest in the long run. The replenish the soil and allow a re-birth almost. Very nice shot. You have this landscape thing pretty well down.
Gorgeous
