This scene may be somewhat familiar to those of you who check this blog on a regular basis, as I posted a similar photo at the start of 2011. The company I work for recently moved into a new set of offices in a brand new building here in Calgary, and most of the floors are still unoccupied. So, this past weekend I took my second trip up the stairs to the 45th floor (5 from the top) to capture a few more shots of the (almost) completely empty space. I can’t get enough of the long shadows the floor to ceiling windows create on the concrete…it just makes me smile.
Excellent perspective and fantastic processing with the lights, mate !
There’s a lovely warmth emanating from this picture – worth the climb to the 45th floor I reckon!
You have a way with light and shadows. Great work
Awesome shadows Heath! Well done!
Hey Heath – nice job man. I like the way you composed this one. The diagnols pull you in and the contrast between light and dark strips is great.
Awesome find, what a view!
So good.
I really like these long shadows and the pattern they form on the floor.
Great!
Heath how are you? Great shot of that empty space. Awesome
Those shadows are far from empty. Great job!
Wicked scene and love the processing
Lovely shadows; also really like that smoke which comes out of the nearby building. Did you get roof access as well?
Yeah this is a cool shot Heath. I love those long shadows on the floor. What a cool photo opp.
