Okay, I don’t claim to be able to capture stairs the way the master does, but a guy can dream right? This photo was 100% inspired by my pal Bob Lussier (a.k.a. the Stair Whisperer), who has delivered some of the most epic stair photos you’ll ever encounter. While most of Bob’s stair images come from the amazing mills and urbex locations of the Boston area, this image of mine is from an old warehouse that was converted into a loft apartment building here in Calgary. There’s not a whole lot going on in this image, but I was drawn to the old brick wall and extra window pane sitting on the landing.
Great attempt, Heath but I reckon if this was a truly “Lussieresque” image, the stairs would have to be rotting and covered in falling masonry or plaster too 🙂
Nice one Heath. I know I keep saying it, but youre doing great things with that lens!
Love this! And I’m thrilled to provide some inspiration! Gee … maybe my kinds can learn something from you!
great work – love the toning and soft focus in parts.
Thanks for the comments everyone, I appreciate it!
