I had grand visions of writing a really profound blog post last night. Thoughts of growth as a photographer, going back to basics, and shooting simple compositions were floating around in my head, but for some reason I couldn’t get them to coalesce into a cohesive paragraph or two. So I’ll leave it at this: I’m constantly growing as a photographer, and I absolutely love this process. My style and tastes are constantly evolving and I’m extremely pleased with the direction in which I’m heading. In the (paraphrased) words of my friend Jesse Pafundi, this blog is an extension of who I am and what I feel at any given moment, and at the end of the day I’m doing all of this to better myself. Shoot what you love, shoot what makes you happy, shoot what makes you FEEL.
Beautiful shot and love your words. Keep on doing your thing man, you are a tremendous tog.
Great post Heath, and great advise! I think you summed it up just fine!
I really like the muted colors and the DoF in this – also some great thoughts to accompany the image!
Damn good post Heath! Some of the best advice anyone can take!
Word!
Well said friend! I have no doubt your work has inspired many as I speak from personal experience. Keep it up dude.
Well said, Heath. Well said.
Great post, advice, and shot here Heath! I’ve been enjoying your journey also and am excited to see what directions you take us in next!
Love the color and clarity
well said, well shot (and great caption on the photo!)
I so much agree with your post today. I’m doing my photo blog for me – to learn how to write better and improve my photography. Over the last year I’ve moved a lot more toward photographing what I love.
Great job on the photo – very simple and compelling. It’s fun to see other peoples perspective and photos. Just wish I had more time to do it 🙂
Right on! Well said Heath, I’m glad to know you…even if it is only in the blog-o-verse…
Nice simple composition and a great post to match!
