Hooligans

I have a busy day ahead of me, so just a quick one this morning.

I shot this during my very brief visit to Florence a couple of years ago. Nothing terribly exciting, but I had to capture this lone graffiti tag on what was an enormous brick wall.

Oh man, do I love this shot. You nailed it and I would likely shoot it the exact same way. It should be a movie poster or something like that. Solid.

murphyz - April 14, 2011 - 7:18 am

Superb shot. I disagree with Brian, and would not have shot it the exact same way. I would have likely filled up the whole frame with the Hooligans text – and this is why you guys are so awesome when it comes to this stuff. Nicely done.

So great. Love it.

Definitely a movie poster. There was a film called Green Street Hooligans…would have been perfect.

That’s awesome dude!

Scott Ackerman - April 14, 2011 - 7:33 am

Sweet shot! and the comp is dead on!

Brian Furbush - April 14, 2011 - 7:38 am

Sweet man, I love the framing and the negative space.

Erin Duke - April 14, 2011 - 7:51 am

I’m with Murphyz; I too would have filled up the shot with the word instead of going with something more dramatic as you’ve done. Great shot, as always! 🙂

Jesse Pafundi - April 14, 2011 - 7:55 am

You have such a great eye for simple comps like this. Just love it.

Chris Nitz - April 14, 2011 - 7:55 am

Spectacular comp! Love the simplicity and just how much the spray paint sticks out on this. Simply awesome man!

Scott Webb - April 14, 2011 - 8:08 am

Holy crap this is amazing! Saving this up! I may want a print of this….

I was watching it load and thinking….Okay, where are the hooligans…? #BOOM

Seriously love this
