So, when setting up and taking this shot, I purposely tried to get a double sunburst effect through the reflection in the water…however, I did not even see the third tiny sunburst until I got the image into Lightroom. Happy accidents, gotta love ’em.
This is a shot from Bombay Beach, home of this shot. While I was there, I ran into a former local who lived in the area as a child. She had fond memories of playing on the beach and swimming in the sea all summer long. Looking at this beach now, it’s hard to believe that people once enjoyed it as a recreation area.
Man, that sunburst is really awesome. This scene is just begging for someone to jump in and go swimming. Nice and warm shot Heath!
This is gorgeous my friend. I really like this series a lot. Fantastic sunburst!
Nice job capturing the reflections of the sun. Looks like an interesting place to photograph.

Spot on processing here Heath – very clean! Love the sunbursts, too!

Superb shot! I feel sad about the dead fish on the shore thou.
Freaking incredible dude. I have a major soft spot for sunbursts but three of them I can barely contain myself
Wow, great shot, Heath! Love the leading lines and that reflection is awesome!
Love how the triple burst opens up with that space in the pier. Incredibly composed!
