If you ever get the chance to go to Joshua Tree National Park, I would definitely recommend going. Although I wasn’t able to do any hiking while I was there, even the natural landscape close to the road is amazing. In addition to the very cool trees, there are some pretty spectacular rock formations throughout the park. I was able to capture a few of them, but I’ll be going back for more in the future.
Very interesting shot, Heath. Gives a clear feeling of desolation and aridness. Nicely done.
Very nice Heath! Well done!
Love your treatment on this shot, really cool!
I went there last year. I agree that it’s an amazing place. Like you, I wish I had more time. I definitely plan on going back. I really like the black and white treatment on this scene.
Nice composition! Great work, Heath!
Love the shot, Heath! Black and white seems to fit the desert landscape very well.
Just an overall pleasing image. There isnt much going on which is why I think it works so well. Very nice
Wow ! I love how you have captured the sun light rays and the bw treatment, although the light is so hard, you have got great grey tones !
Love the sunburst! Beautiful, thoughtful composition.
Thanks, Heath. I have fond memories of camping at Joshua Tree.
Gorgeous shot!
I love the understated sun. Add that to the barren landscape and it looks like a scene out of science fiction.
