I love all the detail in this door. The peeling paint, the rusted door handle, the nasty old temperature gauge…it’s all good stuff. To keep this shot from being texture overload, I decided to take a few steps back and frame the very busy door against the simple corrugated siding of the building. I like the contrast in colour and texture this framing produces.
What a stunning image! The details and textures here are just wonderful, love the way you composed this and processed it Heath!
Great find and great shot!
I love how you’ve chosen to anchor this door “dead center” in the scene. You’ve reduced the proportional texture, but the overall strength is still there. The debris hanging from the door frame and on the ground add additional interest. Powerful image!
I like the inclusion of the wall around the door! Great shot Heath!
Great shot, Heath! Love that color and how it stands out from the rest of the wall!
Super composition, Heath. I love this image! ๐
Well done -looooovely detail going on here, and your smooth processing is a delight.
Top work Heath. Love how this door is slightly propped and dead center. Your processing style is just so pleasant. It’s a fave.
I’m a big fan of doors with this sort of composition, you caqn really bring out the subject. You’ve done a lovely job on this.
