This weekend we had some family come in from New Zealand. They main reason for their trip was the Penticton Ironman (I know, crazy people, right?) but they were able to make the trip to Calgary for a few days visit with us as well. It was awesome to see my aunt and cousin as I hadn’t seen them in 6 and 8 years respectively – one of the downfalls of your extended family living in NZ. <\/p>\n

The weekend was a busy one as we tried to show them a few of the cool spots we have to offer in Alberta – one of which was Drumheller and the Royal Tyrrell Museum which houses some pretty amazing dinosaur fossil specimens. Obviously, I was snapping away all day, and the shot below is one of my faves.<\/p>\n
