Just a quick one today. Last week I went for a walk in Fish Creek Park with my wife and dog, and couldn’t resist this shadow portrait as we made our way through the park as the sun was setting. A great evening with my family.

I processed this shot last night around 7pm while trying desperately to keep my eyes open. The ridiculous sickness that I’ve had for the past week and a half has absolutely kicked my butt, and until yesterday, I hadn’t had the time or energy to shoot, process, or post any new photos. So I apologize for my absence.

I toted the new X100 with me to work, and snapped a few frames on the walk back to my car yesterday afternoon. This is my favourite of the small set. Gotta love some abstract reflections

Upon arrival at the Excellence Riviera Cancun, this is the grand entranceway one is greeted with. At the end of the long walk down the tiled hallway, the big double doors at the end automatically open to the amazing foyer where champagne is poured for all new guests. Truly, this was an amazing place to spend a week.

I’m heading out for a week in Palm Springs, CA this afternoon, so I’ll likely be absent from blogging/Twitter for most of the week.
