Last week I had the honour of having one of my unprocessed images be part of a new series of webinars put on by Brian Matiash of onOne Software. The series is called onOne Takes On and is all about exploring individual vision when processing images. I won’t go into great detail describing the webinar, but please take the time to watch this great webinar. Evening Reflections

Another shot from Emerald Lake today. I spent a good amount of time taking photos on the far shore that you can see in the frame below, but from the moment we walked past this dock when we arrived, I knew I had to incorporate it into a composition. It was almost time for us to pack up and head home for the night by the time I got back to this location, but I made Laz and Halford wait for me while I set up this shot…and I’m glad I did

The Glow

The light in the mountains can be truly breathtaking at times. As the sun starts to dip below the horizon at sunset, the tips of the mountains are bathed in the most amazing orange glow. I was lucky enough to capture these peaks that surround Emerald Lake during my time in the Rockies with Chris Lazzery and Chris Halford.
