the tree

Last Friday I embarked on a 4 day trip to Arizona where I met up with 4 great friends from around the US. We drove countless miles and saw some pretty amazing stuff – but I think the highlight of the trip was goofing around and shooting portraits in Sedona at sunrise. This is a frame of Jesse Pafundi from that morning.

Wicked good light.

That tree makes me look cool.

Mike Olbinski - April 25, 2013 - 3:07 pm

Loved that tree. Nice frame of #OrangeShirtMan

Chris DeAngelis - April 25, 2013 - 4:03 pm

Awesome. I have a similar shot of Jesse here as well 🙂

Winter love on a beautiful day.

Nothing better.

There is so much win in this…that flare shot through the trees is just beast mode. Also the dog half planted in the snow is hilarious.

Jesse Pafundi - February 19, 2013 - 9:00 am

Dachshund photos!!!!!! Also, the couple shots are really really good.

Mike Olbinski - February 19, 2013 - 9:01 am

Very nice shot, I love the one with the snow flying

Back in November I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding down in Phoenix, AZ with a good friend, and I couldn’t have asked for a better one to be a part of. I had such an amazing time and I can’t thank Emma and Brian enough for being so welcoming to this Canadian kid.

Obviously, big thanks to Mike Olbinski for having me along!

Brian Furbush - January 23, 2013 - 8:40 am

Great shots dude, glad to see you back in action! Love the portraits in the warehouse-y area.

Bob Lussier - January 23, 2013 - 9:04 am

What a great set of images. Love the casual feel. And I agree with the Mr. Furbush … the warehouse shots are especially cool.

Laurie Golding - January 23, 2013 - 9:47 am

You did it! You blogged! Also, excellent photographs!

just a couple

I spent just over a week in Palm Springs at the end of November and managed to make a road trip to Phoenix for a weekend to help my buddy Mike Olbinski shoot a wedding. Being the great guy that he is, he let me shoot a roll of film. Here are a couple of frames taken with my Mamiya 645.

Jesse Pafundi - December 13, 2012 - 8:22 am

It’s good. Tones and everything.

Brian Furbush - December 13, 2012 - 10:59 am

This is pretty cool and stuff.

Mike Olbinski - December 13, 2012 - 4:54 pm

Sweeeeet man! Thanks for all your work dude.

Back in August I was given the opportunity to second shoot a wedding for the first time with my buddy Jason over at Crush Photography. We ended up with a perfect late summer day and we had so much fun with Tammie, Chris, and their entire group. By the end of the night we all just felt like old friends hanging out.

Oh, and the girl doing one handed pushups on the dancefloor? Yeah, so good.

Mike Olbinski - October 25, 2012 - 8:32 am

One-armed pushup! 🙂

Awesome stuff man.

Chris Frailey - October 25, 2012 - 9:50 am

One arm push-ups?!? That’s a girl to marry. Nice job on the photos Heath.

Jim Denham - October 25, 2012 - 11:02 am

Cool work Heath!

Chris DeAngelis - October 25, 2012 - 3:50 pm

Bride shots are sick here. That reflection one OWNS!

Jesse Pafundi - October 25, 2012 - 5:02 pm

Some creative angles here. dig it, dude.

Brian Furbush - October 25, 2012 - 7:49 pm

Love the layers in these shots dude. The shot of the bride reflected? Straight cash money.
