I couldn’t resist posting another shot of the mystery pink car. Perhaps this view of the rear may help a few car aficionados out there identify this beaut. One of my favourite things about shooting these old cars – the high gloss polish and indoor lighting yields some awesome bokeh 🙂
Equipment:
– Canon EOS 5D Mark II
– Canon 50mm f/1.4
– BlackRapid RS-4 Camera Strap
I want to say that its a Cadillac…but it could be a Thunderbird. Let me know when you find out what this awesome shot is of.
I’m really enjoying this series Heath. I like how you are focusing on the smaller details of the cars. And yes, the showroom lights and polish give sick bokeh!

Man, those are some sexy curves. I cannot wait till tailfins make a comeback…wait, yes I can 😉
To me there is something special going on when ever I see those tail lights. Memories 🙂
The bokeh and reflections are just incredible Heath. I’m leaning toward a 1960s Cadillac but I’m not a huge car guy either.
Beautiful bokeh. Great shot.
Great use of that 50mm Heath. The dof and lighting make this a nice shot.
The tones. The bokeh. So good.
