This is officially the first image I’ve processed with my brand new iMac, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had this machine in my hands for less than 24 hours and I’m already in love with it. Not only does it look fantastic, but the speed with which I can process images has increased exponentially…this is key. There is absolutely nothing worse than sitting in front of a computer watching a progress bar painfully inch it’s way across the screen, and thankfully I no longer have to put up with that. The transition, although not entirely completed yet, has been relatively painless thanks to my trusty external hard drives. The only thing that might cause an issue is having to completely reformat my Drobo drives to FAT32 since I wasn’t thinking this far ahead when I initially set them up on my PC.<\/p>\n

This shot is from the the abandoned gas station outside of Seebe, Alberta. I love the vibrant graffiti and the stark shadows cast by the wood wall frame on the left edge of the image.
