Tongue – heath ofee dot com http://heathofee.com Wed, 09 Mar 2011 17:35:30 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.1.6 Satisfied http://heathofee.com/2011/03/09/satisfied/ http://heathofee.com/2011/03/09/satisfied/#comments Wed, 09 Mar 2011 17:35:30 +0000 http://heathofee.com/?p=1976 I have today and tomorrow off work, so I made the most of my time off today by sleeping in…hence the late blog post.

I really had no idea what I wanted to post this morning. I sifted through a whole bunch of my old photos going all the way back to 2009, but didn’t find anything I wanted to process until I hit my shots from last summer. I think it must be my yearning for spring and summer that made me stop on these, because that green grass just looks so wonderful right now. If you haven’t seen any photos of my dog before, this is Dexter. He’s a pug/jack russell cross and he’s a little devil…but I still love him. As I’m typing this post, he is sleeping soundly in my lap 🙂

As for the shot, I really like Dexter’s satisfied tongue-hanging-out-of-mouth look, and the juicy bokeh highlights in the background are an added bonus. I ran this shot through PhotoTools and applied a few of my favourite filters along with a light brown tint to give a slight vintage feel.

How Dare You! http://heathofee.com/2011/01/16/how-dare-you/ http://heathofee.com/2011/01/16/how-dare-you/#comments Sun, 16 Jan 2011 18:55:48 +0000 http://heathofee.com/?p=1598 Every now and then I get the urge to take some shots of my dog, Dexter. I had one of those moments today. I decided to give him a little bit of peanut butter on the end of a toy (that’s what he’s looking at in this frame) and capture his crazy tongue as he licks it off his nose and the top of his mouth. I got a kick out of this one because it looks like he’s sticking his tongue out at someone…awesome!
