Rock Formation – heath ofee dot com http://heathofee.com Thu, 10 Mar 2011 15:46:40 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.1.6 Moon Rock http://heathofee.com/2011/03/10/moon-rock/ http://heathofee.com/2011/03/10/moon-rock/#comments Thu, 10 Mar 2011 15:46:40 +0000 http://heathofee.com/?p=1981 In addition to the pretty cool Joshua Trees that reside in the national park of the same name, there are also some pretty cool rock formations. The landscape felt almost alien to me. Big, round rocks jutting out of low scrubby desert is definitely something I’m not used to seeing living in Calgary. I tried to portray the alien feeling in the processing…a little cool and kind of barren feeling.

Sun and Stone http://heathofee.com/2011/02/07/sun-and-stone/ http://heathofee.com/2011/02/07/sun-and-stone/#comments Mon, 07 Feb 2011 14:08:28 +0000 http://heathofee.com/?p=1721 If you ever get the chance to go to Joshua Tree National Park, I would definitely recommend going. Although I wasn’t able to do any hiking while I was there, even the natural landscape close to the road is amazing. In addition to the very cool trees, there are some pretty spectacular rock formations throughout the park. I was able to capture a few of them, but I’ll be going back for more in the future.
