I’m sure some of you may be interested in a full birth story, but I won’t bore the general public with that. If you need some gory details, just drop me a line and I’ll be more than happy to share. The quick and dirty story is that Brei had a very good labour and we ended up delivering the baby at home on our own bed with our amazing midwife. The shots you see below are of some of the home setup and then a few images of our little girl just minutes and hours after she was born.
]]>Our little bundle of joy arrived yesterday evening – and she’s amazing. Both Rory and Mom are happy and healthy and we couldn’t be happier. Here’s a first look at her:
]]>I had a pretty busy weekend and I didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time with my wonderful wife, so instead of processing images on Sunday night, we sat on the couch and watched a few episodes of True Blood. So totally worth it! It’s a great show, and I’d recommend it to anyone…as long as you’re good with a bit of adult content. But…onto the photo.
I was asked by my brother in law and his wife to take a few newborn shots of their beautiful new son. While newborn photography isn’t my favourite thing in the world (I think I need to have one of my own before I’m truly comfortable doing it), they’re family after all, and I obliged, snapping a few images for them on Saturday afternoon. This is one of my faves from my brief time with this cute little devil.
]]>Little 3-month old Zachary was starting to teethe, so we all had a bit of a hard time trying to get the little guy to cooperate, but had a great time in the process. At the end of the day, I was able to get some really great shots, and I can’t wait to process them all to hand off to my wonderful friends. I took some time to process this shot last night…I think it’ll end up being my favourite of the shoot
