Diesel – heath ofee dot com http://heathofee.com Sat, 09 Oct 2010 16:23:21 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.1.6 Diesel in Symmetry http://heathofee.com/2010/10/09/diesel-in-symmetry/ http://heathofee.com/2010/10/09/diesel-in-symmetry/#comments Sat, 09 Oct 2010 16:18:45 +0000 http://heathofee.com/?p=1143 I think I have a problem. I seem to have quite the obsession with shooting into the setting sun at narrow apertures…those sunbursts are just so much fun! I think I’ve made a point of shooting sunbursts on the last three photo outings I’ve been on and I don’t see me quitting anytime soon. They’re really fun to edit and they add a little bit of extra interest if placed in the right spot in an image. I trust my friends will let me know if my sunbursts start getting a little old 🙂

After work this past Thursday, I hit a couple locations on the way home to take a few shots. Inspired by my friends Brian Matiash and Bob Lussier, I knew at some point I wanted to hit the industrial area here in Calgary to see if I could find anything at least half as cool as the some of the old mills these guys get to shoot in Boston. I think I made a couple good finds, and I’ll definitely be sharing more of those shots in the coming weeks, but for now here’s a little diesel in symmetry for ya.

Canon EOS 50D, Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5, 10mm, F 11, ISO 100, 5 Exposures
