I’ve known this amazing family since my days slinging coffee at Starbucks. Steph and Doug used to come in a few times a week and they were hands down among my favourite customers. I’m thankful that we’ve been able to keep in touch since my career as a barista ended, and I couldn’t have been happier to shoot them and their awesome kids a few weeks ago.

Last week marked the third year in a row that I’ve photographed this family – and it gets more fun each time. The energy of these three girls is infectious and I can’t help but have a great time whenever I’m shooting them.

Watching these three grow over the years has been fantastic, and I can’t wait to capture their smiling faces again next year

Every now and again, we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This has been true for me for the past couple of months now. Due to changes at work, I’ve been working longer hours and have had much less time to connect with friends through blogs and Twitter. I just want to thank you all for continuing to support me even though I haven’t been able to reciprocate…it means a lot.

Today I thought I’d share a few candids I shot at my sister’s birthday dinner a few weeks ago. Can’t go wrong with a few cute kids
