Just a Couple

I spent just over a week in Palm Springs at the end of November and managed to make a road trip to Phoenix for a weekend to help my buddy Mike Olbinski shoot a wedding. Being the great guy that he is, he let me shoot a roll of film. Here are a couple of frames taken with my Mamiya 645.

Tammie + Chris

Back in August I was given the opportunity to second shoot a wedding for the first time with my buddy Jason over at Crush Photography. We ended up with a perfect late summer day and we had so much fun with Tammie, Chris, and their entire group. By the end of the night we all just felt like old friends hanging out.

Oh, and the girl doing one handed pushups on the dancefloor? Yeah, so good.

Inglewood

Inglewood is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Calgary and a great place to snap a few frames. I took a short walk there a few days ago and rattled off a roll of film.

Savio

I met Simon and Megan through the co-ed soccer team that my wife and I play on a few years ago. They are truly two of the nicest people I know, and I’m glad to be able to number them among my friends. Just over a year ago they welcomed their ridiculously cute son, Savio into the world and I was more than happy to shoot some portraits for them a couple of weeks ago.

Autumn is just so darned beautiful.

The Ellis Family

It’s always great to re-connect with old friends – and seeing the Ellis’ a couple of weeks ago was no exception. We totally lucked out with the weather and had a fun evening walking around Fish Creek Park.
