In late November I was able to take my family on a trip to Mexico to shoot a friends wedding. I’ll be sharing those photos some time down the road, but in the meantime here are a few casual frames shot on film.

I’ve embarked on a new adventure: I’m now developing my own black and white film at home. Neat!

I ruined about half of the first roll I attempted, but the second roll was pretty close to flawless. The frames below are nothing special, but make me happy because I made them all on my own.

k-country hike | film

Last month I went for a hike with a couple dudes I’ve been friends with for over 25 years – crazy. Our plan was to hike Mt. Burke, but when we got to the turn off the highway the bridge across the river was closed due to damage from the summer floods. So we did what any adventurer would do – found the nearest pullout on the highway, picked a hill and walked as far up it as we could.

Obviously, we threw rocks into the river once we got back down.
