I have two people to thank for this shot: Steve Beal and Chris Robins. If Steve hadn’t called me at 9:20AM to let me know that he and Chris had hooked us up with a behind the scenes tour of Grand Central, I wouldn’t have come home with a unique shot like this. Why is it so unique, you ask? Well, this was taken from the clock tower in GCT! There is a small section of the bottom of the clock that actually swings open allowing just enough room for a single person to stick their head and torso out. When it was my turn, I borrowed Steve’s fisheye and fired away.
Equipment:
– Canon EOS 5D Mark II
– Canon Fisheye EF 15mm f/2.8
– BlackRapid RS-4 Camera Strap

Sweet! Love this shots man. Perfect for the fish. Did you pick that up or rent it for your trip? That lens is very high on my purchase list.
It looks like Neo just performed his superman trick and the Matrix has yet to recover. Fisheye distortion for the win!
