Over the weekend I made a trip to Elbow Falls for some practice with my B+W 10-stop ND filter. It was an absolutely beautiful day with the sun shining and the birds chirping. I could have used some clouds in the sky, but I’m not complaining about being able to enjoy the sun outdoors for the first time in a long time. I’m hoping to have a few shots to share from this trip, and I hope you enjoy the first.
Love how it looks like there is variable points of focus but it’s really just the blur created with rocks being just below the smooth water surface. Love these 10 Stop shots!
Awesome shot man!
Looks good Heath.
Dude this shot is simply outstanding… I am addicted to the 10-stop, it opens up a whole new world of possibility, beautiful color treatment!
Nice shot dude! I love how the contrasting warm gold tones and cool blues really pop out of the shot with the silky water.
Very cool…amazing how clearly you can see through the rocks. Well done!
The water is amazingly smooth and the rocks crisp!
Nice color man! I love how the rocks are so sharp and detailed and framed by the blurry waters.
Scotty Ack nailed it. Sharp rocks surrounded by motion blur. Really different kind of shot. Love it.
A very interesting image, Heath. I like the selective focus look and the handling of the water against the sharply focused and richly saturated rocks really plays well to the eye.
Heath what a great shot. I love your POV and the smooth water. Well done.
Oh my God, Heath, this is incredible my friend! I really love long exposures and this shot is the quintessential image for this! Awesome.
Wonderful shot!
I really like that water effect. Nice photo all around.

Interesting shot Heath; I echo the above – the sharp rocks and motion blur really add interest here.
