Moon Rock – heath ofee dot com

In addition to the pretty cool Joshua Trees that reside in the national park of the same name, there are also some pretty cool rock formations. The landscape felt almost alien to me. Big, round rocks jutting out of low scrubby desert is definitely something I’m not used to seeing living in Calgary. I tried to portray the alien feeling in the processing…a little cool and kind of barren feeling.

  1. I like it man…processing is spot-on for a barren, alien landscape. Like the leading lines of the rocks in the foreground, and the clouds coming off the top rock are awesome too.

  2. Nice work on the foreground which does look very barren and alien – though I think the sky would need to be a little more orange or another colour other than blue for me to really believe it’s an alien landscape. I don’t know why I think other places can’t have blue skies! Nice shot.
