Here is the third instalment in my ‘If You Build It?’ series.
For this shot I opted to get nice and low and quite close to the end of this broken bench to really make the cracked board the focal point of the image. I also took advantage of the tilt functionality of the TS-E lens to further bring focus to the crack while throwing the rest of the bench out of focus.

It’s interesting that we both would post dugout benches on the same day! I like yours better – it’s warmer for one thing, it’s pretty much abandoned, and I love the tilt shift! Great job Heath!
Solid work…there is something spooky about the way grass and chain link fences go together…toss in a broken bench like that and I’m slightly frightened 🙂
