6th From Above

I’ve been sitting on this shot for a few days trying to decide whether or not I should share it. It was a bit of an experiment as I took it from one of the windows of my work building which is pretty obvious from the reflection of the heating vent in the bottom left of the frame. For that reason I’m not entirely pleased with the shot, but I still kinda like the selective focus on the fire escape across the street. I also threw a couple of textures on it for good measure. Let me know what you think.

I love this shot. Upon first glance before reading your blog – the shot struck me as almost like a miniature movie set… there is something very unique in the framing and tilt/shift… I love the post processing as well. Very cool!

I love it. The textures and focus definitely give it an awesome old feel to it. Very, very cool and different for you, which I like.

I dig it, I am a sucker for reflections so I might be a bit biased. Glad you posted it.
