Bricks and Bars – heath ofee dot com

So, after having Photoshop crash on me 4 times while trying to process this image a couple days ago, I decided to bite the bullet and buy myself a much needed new computer. I pulled the trigger last night on a refurbished iMac, and I couldn’t be more excited. Making the switch from PC to Mac feels a little daunting right now, but once I’ve got everything up and running I know I’ll be extremely happy. If anyone has any tips for making the transition as smooth as possible, I’m all ears!

  1. This is great man, love the windows…one broken, one not. Good composition!

I’ll be switching to a MacBookPro in about a month or so…just need to save up the cash. Going to be hard…I’ve been a PC guy my whole life.

  2. I really enjoy this shot for a bunch of reasons. First, you did a nice job isolating an interesting portion of this facade. I dig the symmetry. Second, I love the little details that you got with the numbers painted on that white swatch and the little bit of graffiti visible in between the left-side bars. Finally, you didn’t go overboard with processing and texturizing. It’s a tasteful shot.

    Well seen.

  3. The thing that struck me is how the window on the right side is perfectly in place as opposed to the left side shows some wear and tear. Well done Heath.

BTW, congrats on pulling the trigger on getting an iMac. It seems as I am one of the last ones to have a PC and still contemplating getting us an iMac in the near future. It is scary but exciting. Only time will tell if we decide to pull the trigger.

  4. Best advice I can give you on making the transition is to not make it at all.

You WILL come to regret this decision.

    Macs are for ladies.

    Dope picture though..

  5. sweet image – not much i can add from the other guys – nice symmetry and one window okay the other broken makes it interesting. Like the number detail on the white part too.
