Big Sky

Endless wheat fields and big blue skies are a common scene on the western Canadian prairies during the summer months. During my short road trip on Labour Day, I had plenty of opportunity to capture some of these scenes right on the side of the TransCanada highway. Most of the shots I captured had some sort of focal point other than the wheat fields and sky, but I found this shot which contains nothing but clouds, sky, and wheat worthy of posting as it really showcases the rural Alberta landscape. Plus those big, puffy clouds were just begging to be shot 😉
