A River Runs Through It

For some reason that’s the only title I could come up with for this shot, and I guess it does make sense. This image has actually been sitting in my Lightroom catalogue as a ‘Finished HDR’ for quite a number of weeks. I’ve been unsure about whether or not I’m happy enough with this shot to post…and I’m still not completely convinced, but what better place to get some feedback than here, on the internet!

This shot was from my photowalk in Fish Creek Park earlier this summer and as soon as I saw that tree trunk in the middle of the creek, I knew I had to get a shot of it. Fish Creek Park is somewhere I will definitely be visiting once all the leaves start to turn for autumn…it should be really beautiful.
